3. Los Angeles

From Colorado and physicals in Denver to LA, where we can get Oreo checked out and ready for doggy quarantine before we leave.

We stopped in Petrified Forest National Park, it was a chilly 108 degrees (first pic) so the visits at the sites remained quick.  Once in LA we stayed at two different places.

We had been waiting (6 weeks) for the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine, as well as the Medical Council of New Zealand to go over my interview and let me know what additional training I might have to do when (or if) we finally get to New Zealand.

GOOD NEWS! They found me equivalent to a physician from New Zealand so we’re now just waiting for our Visas and hopefully we can leave in the near future, get there, quarantine for 14 days (while Oreo does the same) and officially start our New Zealand adventure.
